The Firm

Founded in May 2002 by Wallace Rodríguez Parissi and Carlos Vázquez Rodríguez, PARISSI P.S.C. started providing consulting services mainly to the public sector. Later in 2003 Wigberto Marcano joined them, bringing over nine years of experience in public accounting at the Big Four firm level. Today, our partners bring a combined experience of over 60 years of professional services at the local and international level. Furthermore, the firm has expanded its service areas and now serves clients in all types of industries.

In January 2014 Parissi became HLB Parissi, joining efforts with HLB International (HLBI) a world-wide network of over 500 CPA Firms. Since then, HLB Parissi expands its horizons offering new avenues for local and international entrepreneurs providing services as business advisers and financial consultants of the local market and towards the markets of United States, Latin America, Europe, Asia and other markets around the World.

We take pride in our recruiting and currently our professional services group has grown to over sixty (60) professionals, many of whom are CPA’s available to serve you. Also, our management team includes high-level and experienced managers that make our team a well-rounded one. Among them we have various MBA holders, attorneys and numerous certification holders.

Peer Review

As a way for demonstrating our commitment to excellence, our Firm had our first Peer Review in August 2004 and received an unqualified opinion without management letter comments, which is the highest quality ranking.

We are committed to quality in all of our services. As part of this commitment, we believe that, especially under the current public accounting environment, your external auditor be compromised to unquestioned integrity and dedication to meet and exceed the requirements of the profession, and the expectations of the clients.

As part of this commitment, we are subjected to the most rigorous Peer Review Program – American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. To our credit, we successfully passed all of our 4 Peer Reviews with a PASS opinion.

Furthermore, all of our professionals that have the CPA credentials are members of the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants and of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
