We are committed to developing the technical skills of each member of the client service team. We accomplish this objective by providing at least 24 hours of accounting and auditing training in each specialized field for each member of the audit team annually.
In addition, HLB Parissi continued education policy is that each professional annual continued education hours is no less than 40 hours. The training includes all aspects of audit, accounting, consulting, AICPA developments, Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404, FASB and GASB issues, as well as professional skills that provide our teams with a well-rounded formation.
Our commitment – differentiated from other local firms – is that we have assigned a partner, Wigberto Marcano, as the coordinator of ensuring that all personnel achieves this goal on an annual basis.
Trainings are provided in-house, at the Puerto Rico Society of Certified Public Accountants, and attending to national conferences and seminars sponsored by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada. As you can see, we invest in our People, our best resource to provide our clients with unparalleled services.
